A small shop for people who want cannabis to feel informed, neighborly, and a little like a record store you are lucky enough to live near.
Two brothers, one idea — Jazz Cabbage. Born and raised in Minnesota, we spent the last decade in Oregon learning what makes a dispensary experience feel welcoming, cozy, and worth coming back to. Now we're bringing that vibe home.
Think neighborhood market meets groovy lounge: vinyl spinning, good energy, and cannabis without the cold corporate feel. Located in the old Kat Keys building, Jazz Cabbage is family-run, seed-to-shelf, and built to be your new favorite spot to hang out or grab a quick pick up.
And don't worry — we didn't paint over the Kat.

What we stand for.
TRACK 01
Customer First
We believe every customer should experience cannabis in whatever way feels most comfortable to them. Whether you want to relax in the lounge, browse at your own pace, or get guided help from our staff, we are here to make the experience welcoming, personal, and easy.
TRACK 02
Community First
Jazz Cabbage was built to be more than just a dispensary — we want it to feel like a place people enjoy spending time in. From creating a welcoming space to supporting local art, music, and connections, our goal is to build something that brings people together and gives back to the community that supports us.
TRACK 03
Quality First
If we wouldn't use it ourselves, we won't put it on our shelves. We'll keep focusing on the two things that matter most: quality and fair prices.

Jack Whaley
Founder / General Manager
After college, Jack moved to Eugene, Oregon. Expecting to pursue grad school, he instead found his passion in the cannabis industry. Working his way from budtender to general manager, he fell in love with curating memorable customer experiences and building real connections with the community. Now he's bringing that knowledge and welcoming vibe back home to Saint Paul through Jazz Cabbage.
Tom Whaley
Founder / Head Grower
Tom spent the last decade working in the greenhouses and forests of Oregon. What started with petunias and poinsettias eventually turned into full-scale cannabis cultivation. Along the way, he learned the plant from start to finish — pheno hunts, cloning, indoor and outdoor grows, harvests, trimming, and delivery. Now he's bringing that experience, along with the knowledge and flavors of legacy West Coast growers, to Minnesota.
